1. Make sure they have clean water and healthy food.
2. Make sure you spend time with them each day.
3. Groom them too.

If you have fish:

1. Clean tank regularly and in right temperature.
2. They must have companion.
3. Give your fish plants that provide oxygen, shelter and hiding places.
